Chris Coates, Chair of local group, Halton Senior Cohousing, will also be joining us to outline their plans to develop 20 pioneering Passivhaus standard homes for people 55 years and over.
We are delighted that Jude Tisdall, of New Ground, has agreed to come and talk to us about how they have achieved their vision. We will hear about what their older womens' community gains from this approach and how they created their homes in one of the most expensive parts of the country.
Target audience: Anyone in the 50+ age bracket who might consider cohousing as an alternative way of living. Housing associations and LA housing/planning/health leads interested in the benefits of senior cohousing.

Solid Foundations Festival
A festival of online events showcasing local and national models of community led housing. Community Led Housing is housing which is built or brought back into use by local people, owned or managed by the community, for the community, in perpetuity. This event hosted by the Cumbria and Lancaster Community Led Housing Hub provides an opportunity to hear from and talk to some of the groups delivering inspirational housing models that challenge the status quo.
You are welcome to attend as many of the sessions as you like, for free, but you should register on each one individually to ensure that you receive the correct Zoom link.
