A guided conversation to share information, raise awareness and catalyse action on what Net Zero Carbon means for housing and communities.

Target audience: active community groups and advisors; local authority housing and support officers; and parish councillors.

  • What could a Just Transition mean for our housing and communities? Fran Richardson, ACT and CLH Hub

    How tenure affects transition 

    • Emma-Kate Bishop, Carlisle City Council, on the Sustainable Warmth programme in Cumbria working with homeowners, renters and landlords to improve private housing stock.
    • Liam Gregson, Northern Housing Consortium on their innovative work with social housing tenants implementing recommendations of a recent Climate Jury.
    • Affordable housing to Passivhaus standard - Charles Ainger, Lune Valley Community Land Trust, on partnership new build with South Lakes Housing.
